Photo II

This course is divided into four sections with an aesthetic emphasis on Surrealism, Documentary Photography or the Poetic of Space. The first section provides basic medium and large format photographic skills in addition theories concerning the aesthetic emphasized are presented. The second advances skills by introducing color theory as a preparation for digital imaging. The third section investigates digital art as it reconfigures the photographic space and serves as a document for commentaries. The last assignment involves producing a body of work that makes use of ones own aesthetics approach.
